HOW MUCH DOES IT COST?
I have hourly rates on a tiered system so that you pay less per hour if the job runs longer. Everyone's situation is 100% unique and it is very difficult if not impossible to give an accurate estimate until I have your files and can take a look.
What I can say is that I work quickly with a combination of software that helps flag exact duplicates, and personal review of data for more nuanced sorting
I recommend we set check-ins every set number of hours so that I can keep you appraised of my progress and how long it has been. That way you can have a sense of how long it is taking and adjust the task as we go, as needed.

WHAT IS THE PROCESS?
After you fill out the Getting Started Survey, we will schedule a complimentary 30 minute consultation to discuss your present situation and how your customized photo organizing process might look. I ask for a deposit to secure the first
5-10 hours of organizing and we make a game plan to move forward. I may need to guide you through installing a program that will allow me remotely access your computer to transfer your image files; to drop off your printed photos; or to grant me access to your cloud photo storage. As I delve deeper into your photo libraries, we will continue to communicate about timelines and outcomes.

DO I HAVE TO BE INVOLVED IN THE PROCESS OR CAN YOU DO IT WITHOUT ME?
There are certain points in the process that we may need to work together. For example I may need your help correctly dating certain photos or identifying certain people in the photos. Other parts of the process you are welcome to be as involved as you'd like. Often times after we discuss parameters, I can work on my own, only checking in at certain stages or when questions arise.

WILL I NEED TO GIVE YOU MY PASSWORDS?
If you have photos stored on certain cloud based storage systems, such as iPhoto or Google photos, I will need your passwords to access them. I recommend setting up a temporary password which you can change back after I've received your photos. There is definitely an element of trust involved when sharing passwords with anyone and that is why it is very important that you feel like we are a good fit for working together.

WHAT IF I HAVE INTIMATE OR PRIVATE PHOTOS?
It should be acknowledged that your personal photos can be, well... quite personal. Many people have photos that are very intimate or embarrassing on their phones. I have several years of professional experience photographing sensitive and intimate subject matter for a variety of clients and am well equipped to handle your images in a confidential and respectful manner.
If have any specific questions or concerns on this subject, please do not hesitate to voice them.
